Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a cutting edge body-mind stress-relief and healing method. It represents a simple, yet very effective holistic approach to health. It combines a light tapping on selected meridian points with simultaneous recollection of a stressful stimulus (emotion or sensation). The result is a rapid relaxation, and disappearance of the stress response to the stimuli. PERSONAL PEACE PROCEDURE In this way, it is possible to erase long term, or even life-long problems very effectively. It is also possible to successfully release feelings of fear, anxiety, anger, irritation, nervousness, or guilt. Among the benefits most appreciated by clients are the following: painless release of traumatic experiences, compulsive thoughts, phobias (of snakes, water, public speaking, people, heights, falling, etc.), low self-confidence, nightmares, depression, feelings of inadequacy, self-rejection, and boredom. In addition, EFT offers effective help with overcoming addictions (e.g. to cigarettes, chocolate, other foods), and with setting personal goals, as well as clearing away obstacles to their achievement. Since many physical problems and pain have an emotional component (stress), EFT can be successfully applied to solve these issues. It can be helpful with back and neck pain, joint paint (chronic or acute, after injuries and surgeries), injuries that are not healing well, and headaches. Many clients and coaches also use EFT to improve their sport, musical, or work performance. It's worth trying EFT for anything you wish to improve. Please feel free to share your specific needs during a free 15 minute phone or Skype consultation. In addition you may search the testimonials on www.EFTuniverse.com, or other sites. One tremendous advantage of EFT is that a client learns to use it on a basic level on him/herself; usually beginning during the first session. So if one session doesn't fully resolve the issue, the client is able and encouraged to continue on their own at home (I provide specific tapping instructions for clients to practice on their own as a homework). At the same time, clients are gaining a tool which can help them, their families and friends in various life situations. A specific application of EFT is the Personal Peace Procedure. It is a powerful tool for overhauling your life with everyday tapping. You start with making a list of all stressful or traumatic events in your life that you can remember (it can be up to several hundred). I recommend that you tap continuously while making this list. You give each event a title (such as "The Time I Got Spanked for Wandering Away"), and intensity level (1-10). Then apply EFT to each and every one as your schedule allows. Try to "neutralize" at least one a day. Although you'll know right away that EFT was effective for that event by your feeling of definite relief and peace regarding that particular situation, the over all affect of the Personal Peace Procedure may not be noticeable to you for some time. Its effect is cumulative, so all these steps eventually add up, and in 2 or 3 months you realize that you feel different, have more energy, better mood, higher self-esteem, more enjoyment of life, more freedom. Often it's the family and friends who first notice the difference. I highly recommend this procedure to everyone who wishes to improve their quality of life. EFT was developed in the 1990s by a Stanford University engineer Gary Craig, by changing and simplifying Roger Callahan's meridian tapping system. There have been many scientific studies since then, not only confirming the efficacy of this method, but also outlining the body's biochemical principles utilized by EFT. Please note (1/22/2013): The Wikipedia entry for EFT has been controlled, for many years, by a group of editors affiliated with The Skeptical Enquirer magazine. Their mission is to debunk natural therapies as "pseudoscience." They have an ongoing program of vandalizing entries written by qualified experts, and suppressing mention of research validating EFT. Here's an article on the issue. EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques - Full Recipe
